This mode only displays a yardage once you have located your target and pressed to confirm your target. Once confirmed the laser will vibrate to confirm target lock. The display will provide the yardage to the target as the main reading, however below this will display the yardage with the slope and angle factored in.
Setting up to use Golf mode
1) Press the Mode button (furthest button away from eyepiece) until 'M2' and a small golf flag icon appears on the LCD screen.
2) Once on a course in this mode, you should look through the LCD screen and locate your target. Once you have found your target you should press the 'Power' button (button nearest the eyepiece) and the laser will vibrate to confirm target lock and display a yardage.
The yardage displayed in the largest font is the yardage to your target, not factoring in slope or angle. The yardage number in smaller font, displayed below the main yardage, is the true yardage to your target using Adaptive Slope Technology. Adaptive Slope Technology factors in slope and angle to give you a true yardage to your target. Click here for more information Adaptive Slope Technology. This smaller number should be the number you use to calculate which club to use, however be sure to factor in any wind their might be on the course as well!
