This article will explain how to set up your tags for V2, V3, H4 and ProLx+ devices. G3 does not have shot tracking capabilities and is not compatible with our tags.
The 16 tags that you receive with your Shot Scope are part of the performance tracking feature of the product and should be screwed into your clubs so that they can be automatically tracked.
Tags must be inserted securely into the grip, make sure that you screw the correct tag into each club so that it matches up with your My Bag set up. Click here to find out more about My Bag.
Screw the tags in by rotating the tag clockwise whilst applying a slight downward force.
All 16 tags are labelled with the initial of a popular club. It is best practice to match the appropriate tag with the corresponding club, for example, the 'D' tag would screw into your driver but as long as the tags match up with your My Bag set up this doesn't matter too much.
If you have a counterbalance grip you might not be able to fit the tag into the grip. Click here to find out what to do if you have a counterbalance putter.

I am not at home and was trying to set up the tags and match them to a club, and the setup portion for the My Bag section on the Shotscope app only allows me to set up 14 of the 16 club. I do not have my clubs or the tags with that one screws into the bottom of each club with me. Thus, how do I set up the tags for the other 2 clubs in the My Bag section of the Shotscope app on my mobile device.
On the mobile app My Bag does have a scrollable interface due to the lack of space. The issue might be that a few of the tags are 'off the edge of the screen'. If you swipe to the left then the other tags should appear.
When I have my H4 Recorder switched on in the house I tried to pair new tags to the machine with no success.
Does the recognition 'beep' only happen when on the golf course?
